South America

We just got home from a wonderful trip to South America. We had the pleasure of traveling south for a few weeks with some friends and family for a fantastic vacation in beautiful Peru. We hiked up to Machu Picchu and gazed down onto the majestic Urubamba river. My wife had visited the area with her family when she was younger so it was nice to have our own built in tour guide.

The Lost City of the Incas

We stayed just outside of the ruins at the hotel there. During the afternoon we enjoyed the day just looking around the area. It was really a wonderful time that none of us will ever forget. Our kids enjoyed taking a lot of pictures of the amazing scenery around the countryside. We hope to be able to make another trip there again in the next few years. We had such a great time with everyone and we liked hiking around the ruins with my parents.
